Private petroleum equipment enterprises to break the development bottleneck
As an important part of the equipment manufacturing industry, petroleum and petrochemical equipment manufacturing industry is the oil industry's support of the industry, which determines the level of development of petroleum and petrochemical industry in the development process. There are 365 private enterprises engaged in oil refining, chemical production equipment manufacturing, an increase of 31 over last year, accounting for 80% of the total enterprises in the industry, accounting for 51% of the total assets , an increase of one percentage point over the previous year . The data showed that private enterprises have become an important oil field equipment suppliers. State-owned, private, foreign-funded enterprises have evenly matched. Among them, the proportion of private enterprises in the industry continues to increase, which has brought greater vitality to the development of the equipment industry. We will seize the high-end equipment market and push the equipment localization.
Reporter has learned that although China's private petroleum equipment industry has a good momentum of development, but there are also a lot of constraints and bottlenecks: industry concentration and specialization level is not high. The number of manufacturing companies is more, the average size is smaller and layout area scattered. Enterprises lack of effective inter-firm division of labor and some product structure are similar with the presence of duplication. The international enterprises with competitiveness are small, international management is weak. Equipment manufacturing companies have low level in the development, manufacturing and service integration, lacking of a group of enterprises with strong international competitiveness in this area of expertise.
Faced with the world’s critical period of economic recovery, China's private oil and petrochemical industry will face more intense competition in the international market. There is an urgent need for the private petroleum equipment industry to further improve the technical level and manufacturing capacity, and to seize the high-end equipment market. So that we can provide strong support to improve the oil and chemical industry core competitiveness.
China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation president Li Wu said that to develop marine engineering equipment is the implementation of marine development strategy, important support of fostering the growth of the marine economy. Marine engineering equipment is in the upstream of oil and chemical industry equipment chain, with high technology, high added value, relevance and drive strong.
Li YongWu recommends that oil and chemical equipment industry should focus on the exploration, production, processing, storage, transportation, services and other sectors. We should push the development of large-scale and high-end intelligent offshore operations, and support services and equipment, special equipment, resource development, large marine structures, under the sea systems and key equipment systems. Promoting use of renewable energy equipment, marine, subsea equipment and innovation mineral resources, marine monitoring equipment, the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure. It is reported that in the field of high-end equipment, 40% of large petroleum and petrochemical equipment still rely on imports and domestic equipment still can not satisfy the needs of the rapid development of the petroleum and petrochemical industry. Especially in large advanced petroleum and petrochemical equipment demand, import and export of oil and petrochemical equipment there is still a huge deficit in general. By deepening reform, breaking institutional bottlenecks, breaking the monopoly, integrating resources, we enhance competitiveness. We will target the high end, around the promotion of petroleum and petrochemical industry restructuring to enhance, support the development of strategic emerging industries, focusing on efforts to develop intelligent drilling system, thousands of tons refinery, one million tons of ethylene and other large refinery refining unit.
